The right front is off the needles and has 5 buttonholes so that is a result. I have cast on the second sleeve – can I get that finished this week-end?? It is not out of the question. COLDÂ COLD COLD so can’t see me spending much time outside walking, more inside knitting!

I’ve been wanting to knit another one of these for a while – tender from Kim Hargreaves book Nectar which is now out of print.
Well since the mishap in the washing machine with the first one I knitted. It is a beautiful feather-light cardigan with a slight flouncy edging. It is knitted with one of my favourite Rowan yarns – Kidsilk Haze – a light and floaty mohair silk blend with finer gauge.
I am using wicked – black! I have done the back, left front and one sleeve. I have cast on the right front this evening, calculated where the buttonholes need to be and away I go. With lots of train time next week my deadline does not look barmy!
I finished sewing up Patina today. This is a Sarah Hatton pattern and knitted in Rowan’s frost in bracken colourway.
I plan on wearing tomorrow as looks like a chilly but sunny day! I will try to get some photo’s of me.

I am knitting Tender in black as I need a black cardigan for the winter season – will get lots of wear. Progress is good – nearly a whole back done. I am just working on the armhole straight. A much finer fabric after the mix of Rowan fine lace  and Rowan kidsilk-haze  but I think it will still be warm.

I finished knitting Eva on Thursday evening. The feel of Rowan fine lace  and Rowan kidsilk-haze is gorgeous. I need to buy buttons. I had a look in our local John Lewis at Home but nothing suited so I will have to have a think. I only need 12 tiny ones!

Who would have thought that on 1st November I would be sat by the pond in Victoria Park with the sun on my back knitting??? Yes that was me earlier today.

Finished and even if I say so myself I think this looks a thousand times better on yours truly than it does here. As soon I am looking my best or at least better than I do today a photo will be posted! Love it. Happy knitting. A x
